I had a neuro exam for my dog with Dr. Berg. The tech was harsh and unkind to my pet during blood draw that I asked for someone else. And then more attitude. Then down hill from there. I am told my pets MRI appointment was with Dr. Berg. I get there and find out he just gives the anesthesia and can not be bothered to sit for the hour study. Some tech monitors the anesthesia. They want you to sign all release forms talored for them, I asked to have the consent made pertinent to my pet and tech gets hot and nasty with me. I am asked to sign a consent that says I was given time for questions.I said I wll not give full control. The release infers that Dr Berg can do what tests he feels necessary and I AGREE TO PAY THE BILL! I said my bill will change if my dog codes. I want to discuss all treatment. If the doctor sees something on the MRI that my dog needs and spinal tap he can speak to me. Well I am told it is not good for the dog to be under anesthesia for extended time for that. It could take the doctor 20 minutes to come to speak with me. I told the tech those 20 minutes are worse than the 2 minutes I asked for. The tech gets nasty again. I ask who will do the spinal tap , that never gets answered. I later find out that Dr Berg is doing surgery. So who was going to do the spinal tap. Bottom line is to much deception and misinformation. I think the practice is slippery and out for the buck. I ask to speak to the doctor and he is not available. The MRI report states I refused the spinal tap and I did not. It was a circus to get the reports faxed to me. I was put on hold for 20 minutes, was hung up on. I was told on tuesday report would be faxed friday. I call at 3 pm on friday and staffer with isipid laugh states she does not know what is going on. After being on hold for so long I had no patience with her. It should not take 20 minutes tohave a report faxed to me.Then states she has to get it approved. I ask to speak to the manager or doctor and she hangs up on me. After 1/2 hour of incompetence I had to go there and pick my report up and his medical records. The doctor still will not speak with me. A bunch of useless and incompetent staffers. I will never bring my dog back to them. I will educate and enlighten all to dangerous practice. I went to the NYS Department Education website ( has all pertinent regs and standards)and the doctor is to be visible and available. I believe there are violations so I am calling to check that out further. Possibly file a complaint. I called when I got home and asked to speak to the doctor he left early for Easter weekend.Nice he can leave early and still not speak to me. I see the high standard, caring and compassionate care started at the top. And he is still hiding behind his staff. I asked to see my dog one hour after MRI while recovering from anesthesia and they would not let me. You can see you family in the PACU in a hospital. What are they hiding. Something is not right. I added a testimonial to their website and it will not post. Only the positive ones get on there I see. There is a video worth watching on \r

Here is the link (google.Westchester news magazine ) She's gonna kiss her baby with that mouth. That is the type of people hired to care for the pets. So so very sad the high tech equipment is there and pathetic people working there. Why are dogs dying there under anesthesia? Is it inadequate monitoring/ inavailability of the doctor? KEEP YOUR PET SAFE....GO ELSEWHERE! \r
