The staff was very accomodating, helpful, made me they were being up front with their honesty, especially Marvin Krogerson and the Manager. I did call earlier in the day about a similar vehicle and spoke with Adrian, who was friendly but yet who I didn't feel I could fully trust because of the following: I spoke to him Wed afternoon, 6/19, about a blue Jetta for $13988. He said, "yes, we still have that car and there is an option for a 2y/24,000 mi warrantee for $800. I said I may be interested but wouldn't make a decision today, over the phone and would wait unless he could do better on either one of those prices. He said he would talk to his manager. He called me back very soon and said, " Yes, I talked to my manager and we can sell you that car for $14, 963." I hesitated because the $14,963 was $175 more than the $14,788 he first quoted me. I replyed, "that doesn't make sense. That's more than what you first quoted me.". He then volunteered with, "That's because I was wrong. The 2yr, 24,000 warrantee was $975, not $800". Adrian should have told me that immediately after he talked to the manager and not act excited with a total # that was higher, like I wouldn't do the math. So, I came down later that day when I got of work and worked with Marvin Krogerson who seemed honest with me. In fact, I bought the white Jetta, with alittle less milage for the same price, with the 2 yr, 24,000 warrantee included! I only share this information to spare another customer from feeling he isn't dealt completely honest with. I am not mad but thought you'ld like to know to share with Adrian. I have run a business for 27 yrs in Grand Rapids and know one of the first things to do is make the client feel like they can trust me.
