I was referred to Dr. Barrat, a specialist who works at Pieper Olson once a week. I had heard that he was a very good veterinarian, albeit expensive. I made the appointment through his assistant, Jessica. When I asked her for a ballpark estimate for the surgery she sort of laughed and said I was ambivalent about my pets' health and if I was going to ""nickel and dime them,"" I should go elsewhere. \r
I was so offended I didn't know how to respond. I consequently cancelled the appointment and wrote Dr. Barrat a letter explaining why I was going elsewhere. Ridiculous!!
