A while back this repair shop dinged out a dent in my tire rim for free. That, combined with the sign in front saying they were voted #1 in Fairfax County made me think this was a stand-up place. Recently, upon receiving a quote for over $2300 to pass state safety inspection and an attempt to sell me a credit card when I said I couldn't afford it, I told them that I would probably buy a new car instead and took my car back. I later found out that a coworker had been quoted $1000 to pass the safety inspection at this location, and then told at another inspection station that all he needed was two new tires. I subsequently took my car elsewhere and was quoted $120. Needless to say I got the repairs done at that station. It turns out that some of the repairs they tried to sell me were completely bogus (or at least were not listed by the other shop - to be fair I can't be certain), and others recommended for the long-run but not needed to pass inspection.
