Three years ago we had Reston Automotive replace the two front tires on our 2003 Jaguar. Last week, on the way to the airport, the left front tire started making strange sounds so I pulled over and found the tire had lost alot of air. I called AAA, who quickly arrived and changed the tire which by then had gone flat. After returning from our trip, we drove the car to Reston Automotive and left the deflated tire with them to fix or to replace it if it had been damaged by the driving on it while it was so underinflated. When we returned the next day Reston Automotive had fixed the tire at no charge.\r
They explained that when they had replaced the two front tires several years ago they had also replaced the tire valves. Some of those valves were subsequently found to have been made with a rubber that was subject to premature aging, and it was one of those valves that had failed causing the tire to go flat. I asked them to replace the valve in the other tire. They did with no hesita
