Kentucky Fried Chicken on Ashland Rd provides the usual fair for Kentucky Fried Chicken in a pleasant atmosphere with courteous staff and a clean restaurant.
The location, while not directly in the downtown area, is close enough that you can make it there on your lunch hour and back without much difficulty.
The menu is the standard KFC offerings, including the seasonal specials that are offered. The food is always hot and well prepared. Take out is available, as is usual in KFC, and it is packaged to arrive home still piping hot.
The sit down area here is always clean, the soda machine is always full and neat, the condiments and silverware stock is always kept full and the restrooms are stocked and clean as well.
I have not found the chicken to be overly greasy, as can happen in some of these chains, which means the cooking staff is paying attention to the product. Nor have I had a meal with underdone chicken or cold chicken. The side dishes are always presented either hot or cold as the product demands, and they always have plenty of biscuits and butter available.
If you like KFC and are looking for a quick, hot meal for yourself or your family, this is a good place to stop on the way home. The service is fast, the food is hot and good and the prices are in line with the usual chain prices. A good choice for KFC for dinner tonight.
