I stopped at this place while on business in Des Moines. Since it was lunchtime, I decided to order a bowl of French Onion Soup and a mocha. My mocha was wonderful and served in a ceramic mug. They serve their food on very nice dishes and even use cloth napkins! My French Onion soup was fantastic. Large pieces of bread and freshly grated parmesagn cheese adorned the top. On the side were several pieces of fresh fruit. This was certainly a filling enough lunch! Service was excellent (they bring lunch out to you) and the ambiance was great. The cafe has enough tables for a larger group yet was small enough for an intimage gathering.
