Review content:
We adopted our Lab mix, Jake, from the Humane Society in Greenville, with the full knowledge that he may develop Parvo virus, which is very often fatal in dogs. He did, in fact, develop Parvo, and we immediately took him to Dr. Hurlbert. She wasted no time in examining Jake and providing her straight forward diagnosis of Parvo virus. When we told her that we wanted to continue with treatment (that can go up into the thousands of dollars), she quickly sent Jake back to begin his treatments, including blood transfusions.\r
I can not say enough great things about her. Not only was she professional, but she has an excellent bedside manner in dealing with both the pet and the owner. Her staff came to expect my three times per day phone calls to check on Jake and they were wonderful. \r
Thankfully, Jake pulled through and is about to turn a year old on May 1. We continue to go to Dr. Hurlbert and know that she has the best interest of our puppy at heart. I would recommend her to anyone.
