I also cannot believe that anyone could make such unkind comments about Dr. Smullen. She is in the business of veterinary care, not for the money, not for the glory, but because she really cares about her patients. My family and I are certain that not only Dr. Smullen's skill, but her compassion and loving care brought our cat back to us after his second stroke. The veterinary clinic in Chicago said there was nothing they could do to help him, but Dr. Smullen was there for us. Both Dr. Smullen and her staff are exceptional and will always have a fond place in our hearts. I now live out of state and still keep in touch with her. She makes herself available for consultation by phone and by email. I have had cats for over 45 years and have never known a Vet as dedicated and as highly skilled as Dr. Smullen. She is absolutely the best!
