I cannot believe the unkind comments that a previous reviewer made. I have taken my cats to Dr. Smullen starting at Abbeywood in the 1980's and I followed her to Lockport, even though it's 25 miles from my house. She is the most compassionate and competent vet I have ever known. I have recommended her to many of my friends who treasure their pets as I do. She has always been professional, as has her staff. She was the only vet to offer chemotherapy and other life-saving treatments when my cats had cancer. She has also offered alternative therapies such as acupuncture. In the 40 years that I have owned cats, she is by far the best vet I have ever known.
