Review content:
My wife and I have been bringing our dogs to Lockridge Animal Hospital since before Drs McCammon and Richard took the practice over from Dr Lockridge himself in 1996. Over the years we've had appointments with all of the doctors on the hospital's letterhead; they and the rest of the staff have provided nothing less than excellent care, and not only on routine checkups. With 4 dogs we've been through 2 cases of liver cancer, an enlarged heart, a stroke, a bullet removal and a fairly advanced case of heartworm. With each illness they've done a good job of explaining what was involved and giving us their honest assessment of the risks, the costs and the likelihood of our dog coming out of it with a qood quality of life.\r

I can't comment on how the cost of treatment at their practice compares to other veteranarians because we haven't been anywhere else (except for emergency clinics when absolutely necessary). As expensive as some of the treatments have been, I think they were reasonable
