I won a free tree trimming from TNT Tree Service in a local Mother's Day contest. We had almost forgotten about it, but we called Tim (the owner) last week. He came out today as scheduled. The tree we wanted him to trim was actually starting to die (which I had suspected, but was hoping otherwise). Tim, said that he would cut it down as well as trim several other trees. He ended up trimming four other trees as well as cutting down the one tree. It was a pleasure watching him and his crew work. Tim carefully selected which branches needed to be trimmed. He wanted to allow light to get to the grass without compromising the trees. They were obviously professionals and knew what they were doing. The tree that was cut down was fairly close to the house and they were very careful not to let any large branches/sections fall uncontrolled. They raked up all of the leaves and branches and hauled away everything. They even blew sawdust and leaves off of the concrete patio, walkway, and driveway.
Tim Jennings (owner) is a very personable guy and talked with us when he took a break. He has been in this business for 30 years. While the prize was for a $250 tree trimming, he did all this work and didn't charge me anything more.
