My parents have been using Murphy's for years and years and were always satisfied until our last and final experience. My father passed away last week and my mother called while fighting back tears to order an arrangement. A young man answered the phone and when my mom asked his advise as to what he would recommend from her to her husband he became arrogant and rude. He mentioned a coffin blanket...my mother asked what he meant exactly and his response was "haven't you ever been to a funeral" with attitude. My mother, stunned, answered well yes of course and he snapped back with "well then you should know what it is". At that point she told him she would call back and never did. I am appalled and horrified that my 72 year old mother was treated this way especially after losing her husband of 54 years just days before. One would think that they would receive a sympathetic ear when calling for an arrangement for a deceased loved one. I will never again use Murphy's, there are plenty of
