Fixed my 2006 XP laptop when it wouldn't connect to internet in any way, in 3 hours, only charged $65. Then, recovered data from my old 98 emachines desktop when the hard drive had crashed....two other computer stores, one in S.F. and one in South S.F., had told me that it would cost thousands of dollars and that the hard drive would have to be sent out and rebuilt in a "clean room." General Computer did the job in two days and recovered thousands of saved web page files for all of my research topics...and only charged me $250, which is pretty good for saving me thousands of hours of my work!\r As to the poster who says they're racist, this company was recommended by the computer expert for the city of Alameda, who is a black man. He's crazy about General Computer. So am I. We've never seen any racism there. Their attitude was great.
