Review content:
Peter Luger's is always rated as one of the top steak houses in the world. The original is in Brooklyn and the Great Neck location has been there for many, many years. Luger's is an old fashioned, German Style steakhouse. Steak is served for one, two. or more. No different cuts, it is just steak, The potatoes and creamed spinach are great, but the star of the show here is the steak. They start with the finest meat, cook it at high temp, so it is seared. sliced and served. The desserts all have a whipped cream called schlag on them. The food is really good. The wait staff who pass their jobs on to kinfolk when they die, are professional, but can sometimes by surly. Until you have eaten here, you have not reached the top of the steakhouse world.
