My Great Aunt selected Winkler House when she decided to sell her home in Carthage but did not want or need a nursing home environment because she wanted to live independently and in good health. That has been a good decision for her, Winkler House is a good assisted living facility in her home town with friends and family in the community. I have found the staff very supportive of her needs and very responsive when something comes up that requires quick medical attention for her. If you or your loved one needs to live dependently and does not need around the clock medical care, I recommend The Winkler House in Carthage, Texas.
