Review content:
Oakview Veterinary Medical Center is a great place to take your animals. It is the closest avian veterinarian in the area. The doctor is wonderful with our bird. A little over a year ago our bird began plucking her chest. At first we (the doctor and ourselves) thought it was behavioral but she did prescribe some medication to help with dry skin. In a week we were back in the office because there was fluid coming out of our bird?s ear. The veterinarian diagnosed our bird with an ear infection (an extremely rare condition the vet told us). She was given medication to take to help out with this illness. After two weeks of taking the medication our bird stopped picking her chest feathers. \r
The only down fall to the clinic and I?m sure as any Veterinary Clinic they are very expensive to have the annual check done.
PROS: avian vet
CONS: expensive
