Review content:
Steve Ostrom, with the help of his wife Heather are the best team you could ever hope for if you're looking for a home. Seriously. They are even better than most of the agents featured on channels like HGTV. Especially if your past experiences have been ho-hum with a run of the mill agent, please call Steve. For a business that's basically based on communication, real estate agents are notorious for being hard to track down and contact. I've heard horror stories of the main method of contact being leaving a message with a bored sounding secretary and having to wait around for a callback. Not going to happen with Steve and Heather. During our house hunt, we probably contacted Steve and Heather using their office phone line, cell line, text messages, and emails. Heck, Steve and Heather even answered me on Twitter. The response time was usually within the minute. Which brings me to another point: you really will feel like Steve's only client. Don't worry, you aren't, but Steve and Heather manage their time extremely well to make sure that all of their clients get what they need. I remember the first time Heather told me that Steve would meet me in an hour. I jokingly replied something like ""Oh, is he busy eating a hamburger?"" and it turned out he was at a closing, to which I replied ""What, how does he find time to do anything but put up with my house hunt???"" Trust me, you will not be left waiting for anything with Steve Ostrom. Unlike other agents I have dealt with, he measures response time in minutes not days. Steve Ostrom will also take the time to figure out what it is you are actually looking for in your house hunt. Most agents will just take what you tell them in your first meeting and keep showing you homes that match what you originally said. Steve will go the extra mile and help you realize what you are actually looking for in a home. Trust me, while you may have the basics of what you want in a home pretty determined, working with Steve you will discover exactly what it is you are looking for... and then Steve will find it for you. If you're reading this review in 2010, then you know how competitive buyers can get in this market. Any decent value is gone within days. Here is where Steve Ostrom is your REALTOR James Bond. Steve came to us with properties mere minutes after they were listed. For homes where we wrote offers, at times we had our offer in before anyone else had even seen the property. If Steve was into corny REALTOR taglines, I'd tell him to start going by Steve Ostrom: The Advantage. Pros: Easy to contact, responsive, knowledgeable, FAST Cons: None whatsoever.
