I went there for 8 months and paid $70 each time to get my dreads locked up. The result was beyond horrifying; I ended up with two huge balled spots; one TOP and the other on the SIDE of my head.
I however take full responsibility for trusting the instructions of these careless and irresponsible ?hairstylist.? The first and foremost concern of a hair professional should be the health of the client?s scalp/hair. Nappy or not is not the place to go if you care about the health of your hair; of if you care about having hair at all. If anything, I was disappointed from the lack of professionalism received from the owner of the shop.
WARNING: if anyone instructs you to not wash your hair for a MONTH, I urge you to leave their salon (Nappy or not) and never look back. There are other methods of obtaining healthy dreadlocks without permanently damaging your scalp/hair.
