Review content:
On the surface, China Express is your basic Chinese food takeout place, in a strip mall, near a CVS and a laundromat. But I'm including China Express on this website because it's food is to die for. Really. We've all had Chinese food on those nights we don't feel like cooking, but how often have you had Chinese food that is truly memorable? China Express food is fresh, well seasoned and very, very good. Particularly worth trying are the steamed dumplings and the mixed vegetables. The prices are pretty good, as takeout places go, too. The owners, when they aren't working their tails off behind the counter, are very friendly as well. They are from a very small town in China and will tell you their story of how they got here, if you engage them. One word of warning, this place - unlike other Chinese takeout restaurants - does not stay open very late. Visit before 10 p.m.
