I was only 19 when I had Lasik. I was scared at first because I had never had surgery before and I knew that you had to be awake during the procedure. However the whole process was painless and I was not scared during or after the surgery at all. Doctor Tuma and the staff were very attentive and always accommodating. After the surgery I instantly fell asleep instantly and woke up the next morning with perfect eyesight. I have never looked back or regretted my decision to get Lasik done but thank my parents everyday for the best gift they have ever given me
