Review content:
Okay, so my husband and I went to Kyma Tuesday night for our 3 year anniversary dinner and I have to say I wasn't impressed. We went to Greece two years ago and truly experienced outstanding greek food, so needless to say, we were a little hesitant to try Kyma because we know authentic Greek food and I wasn't convinced that Kyma would be authentic. Some of the dishes were authentic....some lacked the original luster found in the greek isles. So, let me start with the Service: The limo service was terrible....waiting 10 minutes to drop off our car and 15 mintues at the end of our meal to get our car. After we were seated at our table, we waited for 10 minutes before we were greated or even offered a glass of water. Our waitress finally came over (with no water) and said that she would be ""right back"" to take our drink order. 10 minutes later ( a total of 30 minutes at this point after arriving in the parking lot of the restaurant) we were asked what we would like to drink. My husband ordered us 2 glasses of champagne (since we were celebrating). She told us that when we put in our food order we would need to put it in all at once so that ""Chef Pano"" could properly prepare the dishes and bring them out in course order. I am a TRUE FOODIE and I know that ""Chef Pano"" wasn't in that kitchen that night. I hate it when the waitstaff lies or talks down to the guests! I'm not an idiot...I know Pano has 10 other restaurants in Atlanta and he isn't ALWAYS in the restaurant I'm visiting at the exact time I'm there. So, don't try to make me feel all special! Anyways, the food was okay, if you don't mind Burnt Pita bread!!! We also ordered 2 bottles of good wine and my husband had to sit for 15 minutes with his glass EMPTY before the waitress came over and refilled it! I EXPECT much better service than this especially on a slow Tuesday night.
Pros: Relatively Authentic Greek Food.
Cons: Terrible Service
