I called and needed an appointment for my husband and I. We had to wait 2 months for this appoinment which was okay since it wasnt an emergency. When we called we advised the receptionist that we would be paying cash since our insurance doesnt cover this procedure and it would be more cost beneficial for us to do it this way. When we arived for our appointment, we were told that we MUST use our insurance and if we didnt we wouldnt be allowed to see the doctor. They expalined to us that the doctor would be doing a ""full body"" exam and it would cost alot more for us out of pocket if we would be paying cash. I agreed and paid both my husband and I copay. When the doctor came into the room we were expecting to have to remove our clothes and be examed. This DID NOT happen. She asked us to show her our problem areas and she proceeded to treat these areas. When I asked if I would be given cream to prevent infection of my problem areas I was told NO! When the treatment was over, we went to the reception area and was forced to have to pay an additional fee for the treatments. I told the billing department that we did not receive an exam and asked to speak to the doctor. She yelled at me and told me to sit down and swiped my card for an addtional $208. I demanded my card to be returned to me but she said to her coworker ""Dont listen to her just swipe the card"". At this time I was very upset and wanted to speak to the doctor but the office staff called the police and had them escort me out of the building. I will be calling my insurance and filing a complaint that they are charging for services that was not provided! They are trying to charge both me and also my insurance for services that was not performed! DO NOT VISIT this doctors office unless you want to be robbed!
