Review content:
I had my Honda Civic for replacement of the muffler at Midas. When I got the car back, the new muffler was almost dragging on the floor. I pointed that out to the mechanic and he literally lied to my face: It was like that before and is supposed to be like that. Not minding that a similar Honda Civic was just standing next to mine with the muffler where it belongs.
I then had him look with me under the car, and I noticed a large piece of metal wedged into the rubber hanger. It turns out that the piece was wedged in because otherwise the muffler would have touched the floor of the car. Further research showed that Midas tried to attach a wrong muffler to the car, which then obviously didn't fit. I actually had to laugh.
But seriously, I have never seen something so stupid in my whole life. There is a saying among mechanics that I usually like: Don't fix it if it ain't broke. To Midas I have to say: Don't break it if it doesn't fit. If you have your muffler repaired at Midas I can't help you.
Pros: I wouldn't know any
Cons: Totally unprofessional
