All you can eat meat...
Maybe that's my Freudian mind at work, or perhaps the juicy, skewered sausage coupled with a bottle of Russian Chardonnay was meant to subconsciously entice a lady.
I knew a little something about Chima from reading a few of the Yelp reviews, but I had no idea how much meat we were dealing with here!
First off, the restaurant is cozy. Maybe it was just the holiday lighting, or the cool modern furniture in the lobby, but there was a pleasant vibe to the place. And even though this was a nice restaurant, there was no pretentious flair to it. Still very laid back and somewhat casual for a slightly upscale restaurant.
We are seated and I'm lead to the side bar, full of salads and sides. I picked up a little corn mousse (not a fan), some rice with veggies, fresh calamari with olives, and smoked salmon with a dill sauce. All were fabulous, but I was warned to make room for the meat.
