Nu Image is extremely over priced, Especially if your not going there because you want a new look and can afford it. If you can afford to pay the entire price up front then go for it, but if your like me and money is tight....I would look elsewhere.\r \r I was referred to Dr. Neshat for a salivary gland stone which I was having trouble with. I was aware of the $82 consultation fee when I was being rushed over for an emergency appointment, but no one told me about having to pay up front for a CT scan which wasn't even covered by my insurance after it was submitted. I also had to ask them when they called with an insurance quote to submit the claim for the CT scan otherwise they weren't going to do it. \r \r Even though I was hurting, (had the salivary gland stone that I could not pass) I decided to go for a second opinion. Turns out the CT Scan wasn't even needed so there went $250 down the drain. Also half the things that Dr. Neshat was suggesting be done wasn't necessary and was only adding to the cost. Both the price of sedation and the procedure was nearly double the price of what the second office quoted me and I was receiving the same things. \r \r I am extremely glad that I did go for that second opinion because I only ended up paying 500 out of pocket with insurance instead of the 3000 upfront where insurance was only going to cover less than 1500.
