Review content:
We were introduced to Hawthorne Kitchens from one of our neighbors who just had their kitchen done by them. We really liked the way theirs looked and they only had great things to say about their experience. \r

We own a small tudor style home in Glen Rock and our family was growing but our space was not so we built an addition. We worked with a general contractor to gain some extra space (1 bedroom, bath and eat in kitchen) and Hawthorne Kitchens coordinated with them to achieve a great design that worked for our family. We shopped around and compared alot of cabinets, from low/mid (wood-mode) to mid/high (custom) and decided we were willing to pay a bit more for a better product that would last. Since the size of our addition was limited we chose a custom cabinet maker because we were able to maximize the storage and not limited to standard sizes. We first met with vera to show her the plans of the addition and a couple weeks later we received two design options which met our needs. Both options were good but we took a little bit from one and some from the other to create a very unique configuration. Once the overall layout was set we moved onto the details, like the door styles, amount of drawers, appliances and all the things that make a kitchen really come together. Hawthorne Kitchens was really great to work with because they had great ideas down to the small details that most people dont think about. After the design was complete HK coordinated schedules with the contractor and we spent a few months in a house under construction which wasn't pleasant. The install took a few days and went smooth. Once the contractor completed the final finish work we asked them to come in to do some touch up (a ding here and there, some doors needed to be aligned) which was done promptly. The final product looks really nice and If i had to do it again (which we are glad we dont) we would use Hawthorne Kitchens.
