Review content:
I completely disagree with the prior comments. My dog had gone to Jewell for the last five years. While the old Dr was good, I believe the level of care has increased since the practice was sold. My dog never really liked any vet, and therefore, tried to eat them. Otherwise, she was very docile. About three weeks ago, she started to have real problems, and I thought it was arthritis. It turns out that she had cancer and deteriorated rapidly. It was the most devasting thing I've ever had to do, but when she couldn't stand anymore, it was time to let her go. The staff at Jewell was very compassionate and Dr. Smith told us everything she was doing and comforted us about the decision. She gave us all the time we needed to be with our beloved family member both before and after she was gone. When I came out of the room, the whole staff was crying with me and offering me hugs.
