Review content:
We adopted two lab mixed puppies from Jewel Animal Hospital. Included in the adoption fee was the surgery to spay and neuter both of our dogs. If I would have known what kind of mess this vet caused with my female dog, I never would have brought her back to this animal hospital to have the surgery. Both of our dogs had complications after surgery...meaning infections where the incisions were. We took them to our local vet, and he could not believe the ""chop job"" this vet preformed. We had the staples removed (which are not used often in these types of surgeries because they are not very flexible), and about a week later the female formed absesses on the incision area. Come to find out, not only were there staples, but also stitches. The stitches are not the ""dissolvable"" kind...causing a major infection and a lot of pain for my poor 5 month old puppy. Please take my advice, NEVER....EVER take your pets to this animal hospital. Pros: The two most absolutely beautiful, loving and wonderful dogs were adopted from this animal hospital Cons: EVERYTHING...especially the veterinarian
