Review content:
Went to Hall of Frames last weekend to frame a wedding picture. Bought a Groupon - $80 for $220 of framing. Turns out they have manipulated the Groupon system and turned it into a bait and switch. It was cheaper without a Groupon by $50. When I called them out on it (nicely) and told them the Groupon was actually costing me $50 more, the manager said he couldn't do anything about it. I asked if he could just take $50 off the price so I could use the Groupon and we'd be square - he said no and refused to ask someone who could.\r Just to give him one last chance, I very nicely told him that I was physically present right then and willing to make the purchase if he just made it right because it made no sense to me, my wife, our kids (and turns out Groupon is confused), as to why Hall of Frames would abuse the Groupon system. Also if I walked out without making a purchase I would just look for another frame shop. He said no, so I calmly left and called Groupon today. They are confused about why Hall of Frames would do this, meaning charge more effectively for a Groupon offer than otherwise. Sorry to say I can't do business with Hall of Frames ever again:((
