Review content:
I had worn glasses from the time I was 7 and contacts from 14 years of age on. Even as a teenager I knew I was going to get Lasik surgery someday (if I was a candidate). I had a co-worker go to Lasik Plus and both her and her husband were not disappointed, so I decided to check them out.
I went to my initial evaluation and found out I was a candidate so I went ahead and scheduled and appointment for LASEK (yes with an E - it is were they peel the flap over the eye back).
I have to admit, the actual procedure was a little scary..though the Valium they give you before helped. And the recovery was harder too, it being LASEK (I probably really could not see decently for a week). But it has been one year and I just went to get my eyes checked and I am at 20/20!! I have not been that good in years.
And they give you two plans. The plan I choose will give you free touch ups for life as long as you get a regular eye exam.
I will say, it is nice seeing the clock in the morning.. and saving a couple minutes by not having to take contacts in and out.
