We had them come pick up our van in April because the torque converter was leaking. They said they would try to get ford to fix since the part had been recalled. We were told IF ford would fix it under warranty they would tow it to Ford and let us know. We found out a week later that they had towed it to Ford when Ford called and said it couldn't be fixed under warranty because the recall wasn't fixed by a ford dealer. We talked to Ellsworth service center about towing it back, having them work on it since ESC had said they would work with us on payments. We finally heard back from EWS a week later and they said they would pick it up the next day and get it fixed. Two weeks later we find out without our permission or even asking us they tried to send it to another shop to fix it, who again wanted full payment of between $1000 and $1500 dollars. We are now in the process of making arrangements to get our van back in our possession and having someone else work on it.
