Review content:
Last weekend, my girlfriends and I went for a ""girls night out"". Since we arent really into the sleazy ""bar scene"" and we didnt want to go to a movie, it seemed like our choices for an entertaining evening were few and far between. For some reason we could not find something fun and relaxing, that wouldnt include karaoke. We were looking for a nice night, maybe a few drinks and also a nice meal. Its christmas time, and the only time of the year that everyone is in town, so we wanted it to be special. One of the girls suggested the Comedy Room at Portofino. I didnt even know it existed! Not only was it the perfect entertainment, but the restaurant was exactly what we wanted as well. We had a cocktail at the bar, but were seated before we could even start drinking. Our server in the restaurant was very attentive and assured us that everything would be ready in time for the show. We had time to enjoy some of their steak-like calamari and plump coco shrimp, before ordering a few of the specials. The Escolar and Mahi Mahi were great, and so was the Scallop Meal from the menu. The comedians were hilarious, and the cocktail waitresses made sure that we never wanted for anything. The entire evening was a huge success and we definetely will be returning for our gathering next year.
Pros: Waterfront View, Menu Selection, Server Knowledge, Easy parking
