Review content:
I used a Groupon to try out the place (don't have extra money this year for good glasses, but will next year and they take both types of insurance I have). From the moment they realized that I wouldn't be spending any extra, service went down. Tried to upsell on every aspect. Explained that finances were tight. Seemed like they understood. Then I picked up the glasses and there was more indifference. Then, the final bit was that the glasses made me feel nauseated. Took them to Costco (along with an older pair to test) and when they checked the lens prescription, they weren't done right -- they weren't the script I brought in to them. No astigmatism correction. Both lenses the same (-4.25 for both lenses -- my script is for one eye at -4.25, but the other is -4.00). I could have gone back and raised a stink, but what's the point (essentially got the lenses for free with the Groupon and I'm paying to get lenses done correctly at Costco)? The Groupon was to test the quality of the place (to see if I wanted to spend more at the place next year). Even disregarding the minor attitude for not having extra money to spend, they could have at least gotten the lenses right. And when Costco checked my old lenses from years ago -- they were perfect (and I didn't tell Costco which ones I was concerned about). So... not going back when I have more money and don't really have anything good to say about them.
