Review content:
I found out about At Your Request Restoration when they were brought in to work on a condo complex to which I belonged. They came to do a dryer vent cleaning for all the units, and I had them do more work for me because the upstairs unit had leaked water into mine.
They did mold restoration and some other stuff. I was relocating out of state, but they kept working at my place after I was gone. They laid new tile, fixed the leaks, and restored the areas that had mold. They also helped me work through a lot of things like navigating my insurance.
I just wish they had communicated the timeframe better, so I could have planned ahead. The communication was okay, but there were some issues. Like with the mold, you have to stop it by running the air conditioning and making the room cool. I had to leave town while that was going on, though, and they left it running so I had a larger electric bill than expected. Thankfully the realtor was willing to cover it for me.
When I did come back to Chicago, I saw that everything looked very nice and they had done a good job with their work. Also, Michael Shultz was very good and accessible even from Pennsylvania. He always kept me up-to-date.
