I will never use them again!!! And I will tell everyone I know not to use them either. I called for and emergency fix on my air conditioner, which only needed freon put in. I was quoted 110.00 dollars for the first hour, then 45.00 dollars for every quarter hr. The tech gets here and tells me that it would be over 500.00 dollars just to put in some freon. It would be $406 for the freon itself and $155.00 just for the tech to watch the system suck up the freon. These people are a rip off. RESPONSE FROM B & B AC & Heating Services: This is in response to Grace Gs review. On 7/3/2012 Grace G. called B&B for service stating that her air conditioner needed to be charged up, meaning that she needed R-22 refrigerant added to her system as she has had done in the past. During the phone conversation Grace G. asked how much this would cost. The B&B customer service representative quoted the service / diagnostic fee and also gave her an estimated cost for the R-22 refrigerant. She then agreed to the service. The B&B Service Technician arrived at Grace Gs home 1 hour and 40 minutes after she called on a 95 day and located the source of the refrigerant leak in the system. Since Grace G. stated that she only wanted the system charged up, the technician then quoted her, (the same amount as previously estimated), the price of the R-22 refrigerant plus an additional 15 minutes of labor. She became upset over the cost, at which time it was explained to her that R-22 refrigerant has risen in cost approximately 400 percent in 2012 due to the EPA production limits since it is being phased out. She asked the Technician to leave and he collected the minimum service fee which was later agreed during a phone conversation to be refunded in full since she was unhappy with the cost of our service.
