I also do not recommend this store unless you know fabrics and are doing the work yourself or having a third party do it. Shopping there is not a good experience: The people know very little about fabrics (none of them knew what ""toile"" is); they are rude and careless about cutting. They approximately measure w/o taking down the roll unless you ask them to measure on the table. There is only one person to check you out even if there is a line. They play loud music, apparently to please the staff and not to create a pleasing atmosphere. They do have a wide selection at decent prices, so again, if you are textile knowledgeable you may get a good buy. I would not trust them with my project. Go to Berkley, south on Midway, for professional work.
