Just had lunch for my birthday at Old Pecan Street Cafe and although I've been an Austinite for 9 years, sadly this was my first time dining here. The menu was delectable - everything looked so good I couldn't choose what to get! \r

I got the spinach crepe and my husband got the pecan st. chicken. The food was delicious and came with a yummy salad and bread basket. We had a pecan crepe for dessert and it was so good - we didn't leave any! \r

We sat outside and the service was great. My husband is in the military and he was in his uniform and when we got the check, there was a 50% discount! Our server said that in-uniform military always get a discount. What a treat and what a great way to celebrate a birthday! \r

We will definitely be back here to try their breakfast and again for lunch! Highly recommended!
