Review content:
We are real estate investors who own property in Park Slope and Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. Over our 18 years of experience, we have renovated several buildings and numerous apartments, and have dealt with a host of contractors. Paje Mechanical is high on our list of awful contractors. \r \r In a nutshell: our GC brought Paul Martinez, from Paje Mechanical, to wire 2 entire apartments. He started fine, but at some point began slacking and would not complete the job, even though we paid him in full (and by mistake overpaid by $600). We ran after him for weeks and weeks, until we had no choice but to hire a second electrician. He stiffed us, cost us over 5K, and delayed our project greatly.\r \r Our GC had hired him on several other jobs, and also spoke with several other GC's who hired him on jobs. They all experienced the same problem: he starts well, doesn't finish, then disappears. NO ONE IS HAPPY WITH HIM. WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND AVOIDING PAJE MECHANICAL AT ALL COST. AVOID AVOID AVOID!\r
