Businiess name:  Alan Smith Pool Plastering, Inc.

Review content:
My pool was built in early 70's and had developed lots of rust spots from the rebar. Many of my neighbors had used Alan Smith and were happy with the outcome. I also checked with a neighbor who had used another company, and when I asked him if he would recommend his contractor, he said no way, and confessed that in hind-sight he wished he had gone with Alan Smith. \r Alan personally came over and explained the process. He gave us plenty of information regarding the different finishes (plaster vs. quartz vs. pebble etc) so that we could make an informed decision. He had specific crews for the different phases of the project. For example one crew did the demolition and removal of the old plaster, another crew set new rebar, etc. \r The project was completed in a timely manner (was just a week or so over his initial estimate primarily due to rain delays). We had email notifications prior to start of each phase. We asked Alan to also do the decking and stonework in the backyard. The progress speed and quality of the result was exceptional.\r They are not the cheapest contractor, but unlike many others they don't pay their employees under the table and I was impressed by how quickly they had the plans drawn and approved by the city and all inspections including the final one went without a hitch. I would recommend this company.
