Came here about a year ago for my first ever Brazilian wax. Big mistake. I forget her name, but she did a horrible job. Obviously it was painful, but it was to the point where I was seeing spots from the pain. She double-dipped into the wax, she left many stray hairs, and worst of all, she ripped off skin!! I was bleeding in two areas. She then threw baby powder on me and called it a day. There was a woman waiting for a wax after me, and I'm pretty sure she didn't change the paper on the bed. I'm just relieved I didn't get an infection from this place. Needless to say, I never returned here again. I've gone to Shobha in Manhattan (they have 3 locations) several times since then and there is a HUGE difference in quality of service. Shobha has yet to disappoint. They are more expensive, but they also provide peace of mind. Really friendly staff, very clean, and they have a strict no double-dip policy. (No I do not work for Shobha). Bottom line, stay away from Spectrym
