I've been getting my highlights from Nannette for over five years. She really is a genius at this. When i started going I had black hair with a few layers of bleach under (no joke, three at least), some red and probably brown too. She saved my hair and helped me grow it out and still look amazing. She is always good at suggesting color but won't let you do whatever it is you think would look good - she's one of the rare hair colorists who knows what does and doesn't look good, and will actually tell you! Very rare in NYC. I go a few times a year, the work is always top notch, all the color layers blend in perfectly and are flattering no matter the light.\r

Haircuts - I have been going to Angie for about a year now. I've brought her non discernable pictures at times and she has always managed to create something that totally flattered my face. She, again, is honest and will work with your wishes but also make her own suggestions and has a good understanding what does and doesn't look good.\r

Overall, atmosphere is great, everyone is nice and it's worth it!
Pros: Skilled staff, honest feedback
Cons: Queens is far for a lot of people
