Review content:
On a friend's advice, my husband and I came here after a long day of shopping at Woodbury Commons Outlet. Half hour away from the outlet and on our way home to the city, this place was a god-send! It’s hard to find a good sushi place, especially north of the city but Akira had fresh and innovative rolls. The decor was pleasantly modern, wait staff was courteous, and our food came out quickly. I highly recommend the Godzilla roll; it is like nothing I've had. My husband had the Chirashi (slices of raw fish or sashimi over seasoned rice) and the portion was more than generous compared to ones I've had in the city and elsewhere. I will definitely go back after a full day of shopping! Pros: Fresh sushi, innovative rolls Cons: far from NYC but close to outlet (if you're heading there)
