Review content:
We went to this place to see what all the hype was about. It turns out that the reviews are ridiculously over-rated. The food was terrible and the service was no better. Sure, the prices are great, but I guess you get what you pay for. The Pad Thai Noodles was bland and dry, the Massaman Curry Chicken was cold, the Fried Fish Cakes (appetizer) was like rubber and extremely difficult to cut into. The service was terrible and the waitresses were extremely rude. It's as if the 9.3 Citysearch rating has gone to their heads, because they were very arrogant. We have eaten at several Thai restaurants, and there is no way this place is the best in NYC. Sea Thai in Brooklyn is 10 times better. Bangkok Cuisine or Thai Austin in Forest Hills is also better than this place. We were very dissapointed with Sripraphai. Don't believe the hype. Pros: Cheap Cons: Food & Service
