My husband and I bought a home, and Quik Movers was recommended to me by a friend. We hired them to move ONLY our larger items; 2 beds, a bookshelf, 5 small dressers, speakers, a kitchen table, a refrigerator, and some other miscellaneous items. They talked us into having 3 movers, as opposed to 2. I was told it would go much faster with 3, and it would be a better deal. Well, at all times only 2 guys were working while the other sat in the truck doing nothing. They were supposed to start at 7:00AM, and didn't show up until 7:30. I was expecting for them to take a few hours MAX, so I had coffee and donuts waiting for them at the new house. They didn't finish until almost 2:00PM! By noon, we were hungry so my friend made a fast food run. One of the guys had the audacity to ask why we didn't get them lunch. This is a horrible moving company, and I would not recommend them to my worst enemy. They lollygag, take tons of breaks, and basically rip people off. Movers BEWARE!
