I wish there were NO stars, or negative stars! Too bad, because that's what MacForce deserve! MacForce has ""ok"" pricing. It's really the same as any other Apple resller. They have a type of ""membership"" pricing, which is kind of a joke. You have to PAY them $25 a year to save a buck or two here and there. The only time it pays off is if you make several hundred to several thousand dollars of merchandise. There are supposedly other perks to the membership... IF you're ever able to take advantage of them. What they do have is HORRIBLE & DEPLORABLE communication! If they say one thing... they'll turn around and tell you something different later. My wife got me something and made sure to mention our M2 membership to get a measly discount. She was in a rush because this was a surprise, so she trusted the sales person and didn't bother looking at the receipt until later...AFTER we opened the packaging. They didn't give us our membership discount. WHAT? Where's the discount, we asked ourselves? I contacted the guy who sold the item to my wife and he says... your membership expired. I asked him WHY he didn't tell my wife. He said she didn't mention the membership. WHAT A BOLD FACE LIAR! I told him, that she in fact DID mention the membership, and if that was the case - why not mention the membership had expired? They could have sold the product, and STILL kept their profits because we would have had to pay extra $ for the membership. What made us more mad than losing the $5 bucks was that they flat out contradicted themselves, and to boot, we had no option to choose if we wanted to keep the item because we had already opened it... well... unless we wanted to pay a restocking fee. WHAT A JOKE! Short of my wife taping her conversation with the sales person, I don't know what she could have done to protect herself in the situation. I guess anyone reading this... take a video camera or a witness when buying anything from MacForce?? Or just be safe and buy from Apple direct or another Apple reseller. Try MacPac!
