Today was the first day that my paycheck was deposited onto my GreenDot Visa card and when I went to take out cash, it was declined time & again. Their website and customer call number said the funds were available, but didn't work for me. I tried every way under the sun to get through to an operator @ GreenDot to no avail. Finally, I put my thinking cap on and contacted the bank for GreenDot, which is Synovous Bank @ 800-942-9764 and they put me directly through to the GreenDot corporate offices, of which I collected their number in case you should need @ 866-652-4611. Skip the bull and call that number. Suddenly, now I can access my funds, and I have already opened up my own bank account so I can cancel my direct deposit with GreenDot and move it to a secure, FDIC, insured bank who answers their phones and have some accountability. What's that they say, ""Screw me once...""
