This in not exactly a tip, but a request of your officers to submit their citations in a timely fashion. I contacted the Alameda court house several times over a period of 4 months to pay a $25.00 fixit ticket I received in October 2011, and I couldn't pay it because the officer did not submit the citation. I mailed my ticket and $25.00 and it would get returned with a ""Citation not on file"" letter. Now I received a collections letter and must pay a $549 fine. It just seems unfair and mean spirited to take that much money away from my family. Citation 63318.\r
