Businiess name:  VCA Southeast Portland Animal Hospital

Review content:
The best service that this animal hospital offers is its hours. As one of the only 24 veterinarians in the east county they can be the difference between life and death for you pet. When a car hit our dog after hours, we went there in a panic. As our first “baby,” he was the center of our world and hit by an automobile in our plain view. The staff at this clinic was incredibly reassuring. To my surprise, they did not take advantage of our naïve emotion. He was not a regular client so they did a basic exam to ensure there was no life threatening injuries and told us we could wait to see our regular vet in the morning. I appreciated this greatly, as not only did we relax; we also saved the additional after hours fees they could have charged us for more extensive tests. Our vet confirmed that our dog was not seriously injured and told us we were fortunate that the 24 hospital did not encourage us to do unnecessary x-rays or tests.
