Kiss your security deposit good-bye!!!Shown APT. 3F 709 Putnam Ave. by Renee at Rapid Realty Lafayette Street office. No Hot water but was told that would be turned on. Later found out no oil in boiler, hence no hot water. Several re-occurrences through fall and winter.NO HEAT or HOT WATER from 2/22/12-2/28/12. Landlord said it was tenants responsibility to inform her when oil was low or out. I don't know where the boiler is much less how to measure the oil! That's what I pay rent for. Landlord refused to prorate for days without heat and hot water and tacked on a late fee for good measure. Lease ended on 5/15/2012, all rent fully paid, apartment in mint, move in condition (documented by Keenan at Rapid) and no response on when, or if, the $1000 security will be returned. DONOTRENT
